Let\'s say the blinds is at 50chips. I am at cut off, both button and I have 1500 chips.I was dealt AK and everyone folds to me so I raise standard 3X to 150 chips. Button reraise to 500 chips and both sb and bb folds. What do I do here?Shove, call or fold?I don\'t like calling here certainly. The button is representing big pocket pair AA or KK, QQ or maybe. His next move after flop would be a pot size all in push.If I don\'t hit anything on flop it is an automatic check fold (a waste of 1/3 of my chip stack). Even if I hit something and I do hit a K or A, I might be drawing dead for 2/3 of the time with a crying call.If I shove, i also might be dominated by AA and KK or coin flip best with any pair.Should I just fold and go away while the pot is small or shove and pray button is reraising with a non premium hand to steal?What would you do? |
